Accent Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing was established in 1988 by Jenny and Susie Presley in Kingston, Ontario. Accent started with furniture refinishing, mostly refinishing and restoring of antique pieces. Little did they know this would become a generational business.

Accent soon moved operations back to the sister’s home town of Bath, Ontario. Where we served the Bath and Kingston community for over 28 years. In this time Accent transitioned to refinishing kitchen cabinets. With Jenny at the helm of cabinet refinishing and Susie dabbling in furniture refinishing.

In 2018 Accent moved to Quinte West, Ontario. We now proudly serve the Northumberland, Quinte West, PEC, and Kingston Areas. 

Over the years Jenny has involved all of her three children in the business, as well as other family members on and off for over 35 years.

We are one of the only companies serving this area that uses a lacquer finish as opposed to paint. Lacquer offers unparalleled durability, and longevity for your cabinets. During our process we meticulously prep your cabinet doors and drawers. We sand and fill to give the smoothest look possible to your cabinets. We then use hand sprayed primer and coloured lacquer to give a seamless, smooth finish. After the lacquer is cured it makes for the most durable, long lasting finish on the market. 

We now offer refacing services, to change the look of your cabinets at a fraction of the cost of a full kitchen replacement. We offer custom MDF doors in any style to fully customize the look of your kitchen to suit your taste.
